How far Darktail Will Go (SPEEDPAINT ADDED)

Okay so y'all remember when I had my computer wiped? Well, while I can't get my stuff back, I did promise a Darktail drawing. It's been so long since I've done warrior cats, and tbh, Darktail is probably the absolute best villain we've had in a very long time. Imagine the pure hatefulness of Brokenstar, with the suaveness of Sol, and the ferocity and cunning of Tigerstar and Hawkfrost, and you've got this guy.

I low-key love him, he's absolutely worth reading the newest series over.

Gushing over Darktail aside, with the wiping of my computer I ended up having to seek some new source of inspiration to draw by. And then I came across Dawnheart101's PMV MAP for him. I mean, I didn't expect the song "How far I'll go" (Yes, the Moana song) to match the guy any, but it kinda works. You can see the completed MAP here, but when I started drawing it hadn't been completed yet. I used his design to honor the MAP itself. :')

I'll be uploading the speedpaint as soon as I finish editing and rendering it!
Also, there's no camp for me all of next week. I plan on using that time as crunch time, and to draw and stream and finish stuff 'n whatnot. ^^

Also, this is a first for me to really play with Photoshop's filters. Did it really work? Eh. I'll get better at it. Meanwhile, if someone could send a smoke/mist tutorial my way (there has to be a better way than just making wisps and then lowering the opacity), that's appreciated. Meanwhile, I gotta practice my backgrounds. :')



Anyways, blah, blah, go ahead and use the image so long as I'm given credit and/or the watermarks on the image remain intact. It's chill, I'm chill.
